Chandler is in a play group and this week it was my turn to have them. They are all so good. Maybe it is because they are all girls! Chandler is the only boy. We learned about the letter A and then painted.
They also played doggies. It was pretty funny. So some kids are just so good and others are trouble(none of these kids). Some say boys are worse then girls. I think maybe it depends on the child but I would have to say that with two boys right now I would vote for boys being, well funny boys. Here are a couple of my thoughts.
Chandler and Deegan watch the show "Nia Hou, Kia Lan" I don't pay attention so this is probably spelled wrong but it is a chinese cartoon. Nia Hou is Hello or good morning and Kia Lan is the little girls name. So my boys love their cowboys hats that grandpa & grandma Daniels got for them. They wear them and ride around the house saying "Nia Hou" instead of "Ye Haw" Got to love those little Chinese Cowboys! The other day I gave the boys a package of ritz crackers and left the room(you don't do that) but they were laughing so hard so I came back to see what they were doing. Deegan was throwing the crackers on the ground while Chandler jumped on them. They thought it was so funny!
Last night they got all dressed up and were killing dragons. I had to take a picture of this duo's ensamble. They even took a second and to pose to say "Cheese"
First I have to tell you that we are very proud of Chandler because he is now potty trained! Hooray! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and we haven't had an accident yet. Cross our fingers. But I leave the bathroom light on and door open with the toliet seat up so we can hurry. So this is what happened this morning and I can't say last because I am sure there is plenty of more to come, but I was sick! They came into Deegan's room where I was cleaning and got a sippy cup, they were drinking it and left the room. A few minutes later I heard water and then the words "yucky" I then realized they were in the bathroom. My first thought was imagining the worst thing they could be doing. My second thought was, "They wouldn' t dare" then I heard water and "yucky" The second thought didn't come fast enough because I was already running to the bathroom. Where, yes, they were dipping their sippy cup into the toliet water and drinking it. The worst part is that I wasn't really surprised. I see know when you hear stories and think I would die and the parent is like it was no big deal, it is because you come to realize there is nothing that kids can't or won't think up. I really can't wait to see what won't surprise me next! p.s. I was gagging just trying to write this.Feel free to share any of your stories because it makes me feel like my kids aren't so bad and that I am not that bad of a parent either.
If you haven't seen this you really need to or even if you have you need to watch it again. I could watch it over and over, every mother can relate. I love it!!!!http://blogs.northlandchurch.net/2008/08/11/the-mom-song/

Oh that is so funny! Im sure my boys will be doing the same thing when Landon gets a little older. Don't worry your not a bad parent I think it is just a boy thing.
I love that song...the MOM Song! I wish I could sing that good and fast and that my mental ink wouldn't fade so I could remember all the words. I'd be bustin' it out at the next ward talent night! The toilet water is sick, but a friend of mine's little boy (age 18 months) ate kangaroo poo when we were at their beach house....so GROSS!
Okay, that is so gross. Maks did stick his toothbrush in the toilet once, but I caught him right before he stuck it in his mouth. That was the last of that toothbrush!
Honestly, I love that your boys are so close together. I am sure it was difficult at times, but they look like they have so much fun. And they'll be the best buds forever!
Very funny. the playgroup pictures are awesome. Thanks I will be putting those in my file. Your boys are darling. Glad you have cute boys for the cute girls they are surrounded by....
