Adding and Subtracting = Summer Happiness

Here are a couple of things that we have added and subtracted to help make our summer better. We added a swim pool and slip n' slide to our yard. The boys loved it. Yes, I went on the slip n' slide, someone had to show them how to do it. I have a bruise to prove it! The boys didn't want to go on their bellies like mom so it turned into a game of run up and down and try not to fall down. They had fun.


I subtracted 10 inches of hair, probably 2 lbs, and 10 degrees by cutting my hair over Memorial Weekend. Thanks Nicki I love it!

I was a little sad and scared but you can't tell from this picture cuz I couldn't hold a sad face.

We added a sand box. My pictures are backwards but the before pic is at the end and we dug it out. The boys wanted to help move all the grass. And this is the finished product. Entertainment for hours = peace for mom. Oh! we re-added another member of our family. Notice TJ, the dog, in the pic. Yep he is back and will probably stay until he starts destroying things. J/K the boys and Reed are loving him which means he will be staying. That adds a little stress for me :l

In the front of our house there was this strip of grass that was mostly dead so we dug it up and tilled in some good soil, added some bushes and bark and now we have a little flower bed. It was a bigger project than I thought it would be and Reed was not happy about it. But he did such a good job and it looks good. This added some beauty to our front yard
