If you looked outside you would think that it was going to be a nice day. Blue sky and the sun is shinning but . . .
at 1:00 p.m. this is how warm it was! Ha! The last couple of days were the worst. When I went to work that morning I didn't have my camera but it said -18 ya freakn' cold!!!!
Inside my front door there is a layer of ice around the whole door.
When I went to work in the morning I try to be quite but the door was frozen shut and to my great surprise all of the hinges were actually frozen. (the hinge is black)
Finally on my sliding door the moisture has gathered on the bottom and froze to a chunk of ice.
I really hate the cold. I used to love winter and the snow but this cold I could do with out! It makes me sick to my stomach every time I think about going outside especially with the boys. I think that the bears and other furry creatures that hibernate through the winter have it all right. I want to sleep through all this and wake me up when spring comes!

I can't believe there was ice inside your house!!! Especially since you have that hallway at your front door. That's bad. I hate going anywhere when it's this cold w/ my kids too. At least you have a nice warm house to look forward to with your fancy insulation!!
Wow, those apartments are awesome.
I thought our house was bad when I could feel a little cold air coming in around the door, but we had no ice forming anywhere.

I'm with ya! Apartment living totally makes you miss having a garage!
WOW that is crazy, I will keep my 3* weather and no ice in my house. Come to Utah and get a little warmer. O ya you are see ya soon
Why do you live there? I thought Utah was bad. I hope you put extra insulation in your house!
