So Wednesday all day me and Jen cleaned one of the houses that Reed and Brook built. It is funny cuz I was talking to someone who asked, "You are cleaning a brand new house?" I thought it was common knowledge that you have to clean a new house but I have always been married to a builder and it is normal to me that the very last step in building a house is to clean it. Believe me when all the contractors and subs are done it is a disaster!!! So I took some before and after pics but they just don't do it justice. The entry, front room, kitchen, laundry, hall, and dinning room are all wood floor. That was the last thing we cleaned, there was so much sawdust and mud on it.
This is the master bath tub. The tubs are usually pretty bad but the worst is probably the windows. But I figured out a routine and they got better.
And for the fun of it I went dumpster diving just because I was already dirty, hey why not! Just kidding I emptied out the vaccum and dropped the canister, luckily for me the dumpster was just emptied earlier that day! Look at all that dirt. And sorry Angie there is no sheet rock in here.

The kids came and helped for a little while. This was the kids play room supplied with all the necessities!
The finished product is beautiful and clean!

Jen just got done mopping the floor and it was a killer! Sorry Jen bad pic. We started about 11:00ish and finished at 6:45p.m. and if anyone is interested it only costs you $250. p.s. that is for only a 1500 sq. ft. level additional costs for additional sq. ft!
The best part is that we are doing another one on Saturday, who knew that cleaning could be so much fun----NOT!!!
p.s. no my house does not look this good

Wow!!! You guys can come and clean my house anytime you want to.
Yeah, I guess it makes sense that the builders are so messy. I really hope you two get compensated from your hubbies!
Wow. That house is beautiful. I would like to go out and see it sometime. Sounds like all is well other than the coughs. Get better soon...
