This last week we spent with Reed's Family at Bear Lake. It was lots of fun seeing everyone and hanging out. We also met the newest member of the family Libby, who is in the wagon but you can't really see her. She is very small and very cute. These are all the grandkids on the beach. Chandler was just not being very happy!
We spent a lot of time on the beach and so we had to get creative. Me and Jen built a life size alligator and the guys had fun making a little putting course.
A couple days it was cold. Chandler and Grandma cuddling in the towels.

We also we on a bike ride. These bikes are so fun cuz all ages can go in one cart. The kids loved it and afterwards we cooled off with a Tiger Blood Volcano Icee. Yum! Yum!
On Friday morning our fam and G & G Smith went to Minatonka (whatever) Caves. We got there pretty early but still had to wait for an hour just to go on the tour.
The cave was freezing cold, wet, and slippery. The boys thought it was neat when they were being held, which was the whole time! But we learned about Stalagmites and Stalagtites. There are a lot of neat formations.
This is the Bride and Groom and some day in like a million years they will be married. This is also the last of the tour and by this time you are so deep in the mountain and under the earth that they turn off all the lights and it is pitch black you can't see your hand in front of your face! It is pretty neat.
Did I mention there are wet slippery steep steps-444 in and 444 out. I got a work out and then add carrying a kid, good thing G & G were there to help out I might have died!
This is the pretty scenery just outside the cave.
I would have to say that I am glad we went cuz I have never been but it might be a while before we go back.
We also did a couple fireworks in the parking lot at the condo and the next day we all got a flyer on the door reminding everyone not to do fireworks on the property. oops!
Thanks Stuart and Carol for all the fun.

For the 4th we went to the Hammonds for a BBQ and Brook and Jen had fireworks. Thanks for letting us hang out!
The kids weren't the only ones who had fun with the sparklers!

The boys went for a ride. This is only Reed's second time riding and he is liking it and getting better every time.
Just Chillin'

Deegy steppin' on the pops.
Most fireworks are legal in Wyoming so we teach our kids young. This is Deegy shootin' a Roman Candle!
It was all fun until the very end and poor Chandler was playing in his bare feet and stepped on a hot ash of a sparkler. It burned the bottom of his foot pretty good. It blistered right away but he slept good and walked on it the next day at church so we are good!

I am so thankful for this beautiful country we live in and for all the freedoms we have. I am thankful for all those who fought and died and still fight for all that we have.
God bless them and their families for their Bravery!
