LOTS of summer FUN

Reed turned 30 actually at the first of June but I didn't have a camera so I had to get a pic from Mom. We had some problems and this is the only one I got. It was supposed to be a surprise but really when you invite friends and family from out of state it is a little hard to hide. But we had fun. Thanks to everyone who came and Happy Birthday to my awesome husband! I love that we are getting older but he still acts like 10 sometimes. He keeps me young!

Slip n' Slide in the back yard with my boys

The splash parks up here are the social event all summer cuz there is nothing else to do and really we would all go insane. I am so thankful for them even if my boys just walk around the outside of the water!

Look at that red hair. Where did that come from?

They looked so cute chillin' and eatn' popsicles.

Reed love horseshoes so we got a set. Something fun to do in the back yard.

My 4th of July project. It turned out really cute and is super easy.

Reed went on a camp out with the scouts and came home telling me and the boys about it so we decided to pack it up last week and take the boys to Granite Hot Springs. It was so beautiful! I just love the green amazing mountains!
We saw lots of wild life the whole time but on the way up we saw to sets of twin fawns. I thought that was a rare thing in nature but maybe not. These two were close and so cute. Zoom in if you can't see them.
A couple bucks hangn' out by the road.
Our camp site.
The boys trying to help dad with the tent while mom started dinner. We made a dutch oven that was awesome! I always wondered if dutch oven really tastes that good or is it just because your camping?
The boys found a house to play in
That night we made ice cream in a can and rolled it around or shook it while we went for a little walk right up the road to a waterfall.

Justify Full
The water fall was awesome and big probably cuz of all the run off. The river was high too.

Ice cream was yummy and fun for the boys. We didn't tell them what was in the can so they were surprised.

Telling spooky stories around the camp fire...but not too spooky

Breakfast we ate with the chipmunks there were 3 of them so we named them of course: Alvin, Siemon, and Theodore. They thought that was pretty cool.

The camp didn't have showers but right up the road they have a pool with natural hot springs. It was nice and hot and fun.

The camp site was close to Jackson Hole so we went down for the day had lunch and went down the Alpine slide.

The view from out site

The boys are dusting the ground with tree branches looking for dino bones. It was really funny.

When Reed went with the scouts they saw a couple of moose and I really wanted to see one. I actually did one of the nights a momma and baby walked through our camp and it freaked me out so I grabbed the boys and got in the car. I just didn't want to chance getting to close to a mom and her baby. But on the way home near Pinedale we saw a bull moose off the side of the road. He was beautiful you might have to zoom on this pic too. The boys absolutely loved camping and didn't want to come home and being in the mountains was so nice we are going again for sure!!!!!
