Tidbits of Randomness

While at girls camp the boys spent the week with G&G Smith. They loved it and had so much fun. I was pretty sure that they didn't even know that I was gone. :( Chandler and Reed also got to spend time with Great Grandma Smith down in Oak City. Here are a couple of pics that they took.

Grandma's hammock
Reed found these really cool masks for the boys to swim with. My little swim monsters!

In Oak City they had a picnic, played games, went to the park and raced boats in the little stream.

Thanks soooo much to Great Grandma they had lots of fun and special thanks to G&G Smith for taking care of the boys all week during camp!
The boys did tell me that I was gone for a really long time and that I shouldn't do that again. So maybe they missed me just a little bit :)

When we got back Reed noticed that his beautiful beets had died and wilted away in the garden. He couldn't figure out why but upon further investigation...

the culprit, these little creatures must have eaten them from under the ground and they are all gone. Reed wasn't too happy since the beets were about the only thing doing good in the garden.

So now his new favorite thing is shooting at them with his pellet gun. We have got to protect our garden!

Remember my filing cabinet? Well it has been a work in progress for a couple months but it was sanded and now I sprayed it the other day. It isn't fancy but looks lots better. Now I just have to get all my crap together and organized. That will be the hard part.

I know that it isn't the brightest thing to be doing at this point but I have to keep myself busy while waiting for this baby and to be totally honest I wouldn't be to sad if it pushes the processes along too. I painted a wall in the boys room the other day. I did let the boys help. It was small and it took me all day. It did turn out a little brighter than I thought so I am not so sure that I love it still but I am not bored enough to repaint it at this point.

I do have a couple of street signs that I want to hang on the wall too but I need a couple more. So if anyone has any that they want to get rid of or are selling let me know please.
The other day we found our first scorpion but my camera wasn't focusing. It was having issues so I didn't get a pic of it. It was really small but this blurry pic is of Reed killing it while the boys and neighbor kids all watch. It was pretty exciting.

A day at the splash park with the fam.

I sure missed these faces while at camp!!!!

So this summer the boys have been getting themselves dressed a lot of the time and the outfits they come up with make me laugh so I took a couple pics of their great ability to match!

Even their pj's don't match

Where is Deegy?

Hiding under mommies tummy!
