HE IS HERE!

Finally he is here! And we totally adore him!!! After my last post I was so excited so we went to Utah last weekend ready to go but my body was still only to a 1 1/2 so we had to wait another week. I stayed with the boys at G&G Smiths and although it was nice being there and I am so thankful to them for letting us hang around it was a really long week of waiting.
So this is our long baby story so I can remember and document it.
Friday morning I was scheduled to start at 8:00. But just as we were sneaking out the door Chandler woke up and didn't want me to leave. I think he was still sleeping and scared cuz he didn't know what was going to happen. But we made it to the hospital and sat in the waiting room until after 9:00 cuz of admitting. We got into a room and all hooked up and checked and was still at a 1 1/2. Seriously that sucked. So we waited all day for the pit to do its thing. Finally they checked me at 2:00 and I was to a 3. They checked me at 3:00 and I was at a 4. At this rate I thought we would be there all night. So the doc was going to come break my water but I decided to get the epidural first.
For some reason the epidural always freaks me out cuz I never know if it is going to work and you have to hold still while having contractions and they are putting a needle and tub down your spine. But it was easy and the doc was awesome. As I was laying back down from getting it and I looked at Reed and the nurse to tell them that I either just peed to my water broke. My water broke on its own so that was a first. No need for the doc to come so we waited again.
At 4:00 still a 4. At 5:00 still a 4. At 6:00 the doc comes and says a 4 but getting close to a 5.
But I started to feel really hard contractions and pain. Plus I started to shake pretty bad. They came and gave me a boost for the epidural but it was still painful. I told the nurse that last time with Deegan I was shaking really bad cuz my body was in shock I went really fast at the end. So at 6:20 she checked me and I was a 9!
In 20 minutes I went from a 4/5 to a 9 and ready to go. G&G Smith came in right after to visit me and I asked where Reed was. He left to still in the waiting room with our boys. So they turned right back around and got him right in time. They were prepping the room and the doc came in ready. I pushed 3 times during one contraction and on the next contractions he just came right out. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice and he was a little purple but they didn't seemed concerned cuz he came so fast and his heart was fine during the whole thing.
The doc put him right up on my lap and the little stinker peed straight up in the air all over the place. Dad cut the cord and he was here and happy. Born at 6:51 p.m. Weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. Within 30 minutes the room was cleaned and G & G Smith and the boys could come in and see our little baby Beckham.

He looks so much like his brothers. Chandler and Deegan just love him. Dad couldn't stop saying how cute he was.

Great Grandma was in the hospital at the same time so she got to come in and see him too.

It's amazing how little they are so still so big to think that they were inside of you. We had lots more visitors and pics to come.
