So there are only a select few, besides my family, that know that when I was younger even up to high school that I loved unicorns. My walls were covered in them and I had all sorts of little statues or figurines. I still have some today stashed away because even though I grew out of it, deep down I still love them so of corse I couldn't get rid of all of them.
I don't know what it is about them but I find them amazing, beautiful, and fasinating. Some believe they are real or that they were once real. Some even claim that when Noah was gathering the animals that their were white horses with a horn that were playing and would not come to the ark and so were lost. Who really knows but it is kind of fun.You are probably wondering why I am going off about this well I went to Walmart to buy the newest addition to our video collection, Twilight, but I found a blast from the past. One of my favorite movies was The Last Unicorn. It was on clearance and on DVD so I had to get it. Me and Chandler watched it the other day and I should have just remembered it the way I remembered it from the past instead of watching it because the movie is so bad, no really aweful! Even Chandler said, "Mom, I don't like this movie." But for some reason he wanted to watch it again, I didn't. But every once in a while I might have to watch it just to remember.

I know what you mean about loving a movie or cartoon when you were a kid and then you find it and watch it when you are all grown up and how it's just not the same! I had that happen to me with the movie Hug A Bunch, I loved it growing up but then I found one time at blockbuster and i just had to rent it and watch it and it just wasent the same as it was when i was a kid!
You never mentioned that your dad and mom took you to the circus to see a live unicorn because you loved them so much!
