A Trip to Utah and the Draper Temple

We visited Grandma Great while in Utah and she has a fun ride that goes up and down the steps. Chandler figured out how to do it himself. They thought that was fun!

Now that Chandler is in Primary he tells me that he wants to go to the Temple, he has said it to me many times, so Carol was taking her Young Womens group and had extra tickets so we took a trip to Utah and went with the group. Chandler was so excited to see the Temple! We first went to a stake center and watched a video on Temples and a little history on Draper. We then got to go on a bus ride up to the Temple.

It was such a beautiful building. It was a quiet tour and you could feel the spirit, which was neat but like Stuart and Carol said when we were standing in the Celestial room, it is a neat, peaceful feeling but nothing compared to when the Temple is dedicated and you are there doing work for the Lord.

By time we were done it was getting dark and we grabbed a pic before it was too late. Chandler loved the Temple even though he is making funny faces in the picture!

On the tour you each get a pamphlet that has pictures and Chandler held his through the whole tour and would compare pictures saying, "We are in this room" or "We haven't been in this room" on the way home they were looking at it together and I happened to get a picture at the same time. It was really cute!


On our way home from Utah Chandler had to go to the bathroom and wanted to go outside and "go potty like a horse on the bushes" this was the first time he went outside! Sorry I had to take a pic but I made sure you couldn't see anything :O
