Aaarg....The TALK

Ok so I didn't have to have the "Birds and the Bees" talk but we had to talk about our private parts. I knew that we would have to sooner than latter just because Chandler is going to school next year and who knows what they see and hear. But we had a little incident with the neighbor kids last night and my boys thought it was funny to jump on the tramp with their pants down. Reed and the kids father caught them and the poor kids had to deal with the wrath of Dad.
So we had to sit down with our boys and talk to them about private parts and what is not appropriate. It is really hard to talk about this kind of stuff without going into too much detail and explaining too many things cuz they are only 5 and 4. I am so worried about my boys going to school cuz of all the things that I hear. Plus kids know way too much way too early and I would rather my children hear it from me and Reed before someone else. So at what age to do have to have THE TALK?

p.s. what is it with boys thinking that everything stinky, or grose, or anything potty is funny? I just mention diapers and they say yucky and giggle. I know that we didn't teach them that kind of stuff and I hope that they are not learning that from friends or tv. Is it just a boy thing in their genetics?

Well thinking of who the dad is this is so funny. i will not say details. We had the talk with Devin at 10 and that is the plan for kenz. But Lana and her fam have the talk at 8. I just have to say that we love those cute little funny boys!

I had to have the full talk with Cali this past school year. She was in second grade when a girl in her class told her all about her mom and her mom's boyfriend and her mom's piercings down below...UGGG! I was pissed!

Anyway, I think boys are just gross. If Carter even hears a word that kind of sounds like poop or fart, he bursts into hysterics!
