Friday before we left town we let Deegy open some of his presents. I never know what to give him but he is always so excited about everything... his face about Spiderman under ware!
Grandma Daniels gave him a baseball thing and a warm fuzzy blanket that he loves.
Then Dad comes up with this little 4-wheeler. Some friends down the street didn't want it anymore and said that the boys could have it. But since Reed got it on Deegy's Birthday then Chandler says, "Mom for my Birthday I want a motorcycle" Ha that didn't work out so great!
It is going to take some time learning to ride it and lots of running for Reed!
We headed to Utah for a baby apt. and went out to dinner.
But on Saturday...
Grandma Smith made yummy birthday waffles and then we headed for the Zoo!

Throughout the park they had Dinosaurs! The kids loved them cuz they moved, made noise and this one even sprayed water. I don't think the guy in the hat knew what was coming.
Carousel ride. Deegy picked the lady bug to sit on and Chandler and Kason both wanted to sit on the Bald Eagle.
Chandler said at his school program that he wanted to dig for dino bones this summer. I asked if he found some but he informed me that they weren't real and he wanted to look for real ones.

Everyone had lunch and we sang Happy Birthday with some chocolate cake.

Deegy wanted to see a baby tiger but their weren't any but we did see the baby elephant!

Chandler wanted to see a kumodo dragon(whatever) they didn't have one but there were lots of other creepy things. This Gorilla was laying in the corner and grabbed his blankie and covered himself up, yawned and started dozing off. Chandler laughed so hard he thought it was hilarious!
It was a great day at the Zoo! Thanks to everyone for coming and sharing Deegy's Birthday with us. The boys had soooo much fun. When we got in the car I asked if they liked it they said, "That was the BEST day EVER!" and they were asleep within 5 minutes to prove it!
