Every summer we try to go camping as a family but this year we had the opportunity to go with some good friends from Utah, the Stewart Family. It was fun to see them and hang out with them. This is our lovely camp site right across the street from the lake where everyone hung out most of the time.
The trip started out interesting and sad. As soon as we pulled in to the grounds some people where looking for cell phones that worked for an emergency. We came back latter to find out that a young girl who was handicap had some problems and so me and Amanda assisted in helping comfort and check levels of oxygen. They had been giving her CPR for about 45 minutes before the ambulance was able to make it to us and then life flight the girl down into medical care. Sadly we found out later that the girl did not make it. I will always remember that.
Regardless we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed being with friends and family. Plus we enjoyed the beautiful mountains!
Fishing and our hang out spot
These two played cards most of the time
Teag and his Dad
Rolling cans of ice cream is always our favorite when camping. Yum!
I decided to stop breast feeding a couple of days before going on this trip, BIG MISTAKE!!!! I was miserable and sore and this poor little guy was up most of the night so we had a couple of naps.
Drove to the falls and it was beautiful
All of us
Nothing better than playing in the cold warm to cool you down on a hot summer day.
A little too cold for this little guy he wouldn't put his feet down into the water:)
Bryson climbed to the other side and was posing for us. He is such a funny guy!
Such a fun trip maybe we should make this an annual thing!
