Lake Powell

This year our trip to Lake Powell was without our little Beckham just cuz he was to young so I had to take a pic of my baby face to look at all week.  We had fun but I missed this little guy.  He was in good hands with Grandma Daniels and Aunt Kristy to look after him.
On the way down we decided to stop at Goblin Valley.  It was really hot but the boys loved it.  They couldn't believe that they could actually climb and jump all over the rocks.

 Mom enjoyin' the sun!

We had fun trying to catch the boys mid air while jumping from rock to rock.

It sure was hot but lots of fun this year.  We parked in Moki Canyon.  We missed Ashlee & JJ's Family and Jen & little ones.  Matt & Rachel our neighbors and friends joined in the fun.  Still it seemed like an empty boat this year.
Deegan loves the lizzards.  He always wants to keep them and bring them home.

So funny Chandler got the paddle boat high centered on the anchor rope.

One of the days it rained for a little bit.  Just long enough to see beautiful waterfalls streaming off the cliffs.
Chandler was telling everyone before we left that he was going to water skii.  Well he tried a couple of times and that really surprised me but he wasn't able to get up cuz we hadn't figured out how to pull the kids.  By the time we figured it out he didn't want to do it anymore and wouldn't try again.  But we were able to get all the other kids up, Deegan, Cawas, Camden, Max, Gabriel and even Devin & Kenze.
The girls hanging out watching the guys play their games

Playing with the football on the wave runners

A couple nights we had movies on the top of the boat.. It was lots of fun
Finally later I convinced Chandler to try knee boarding and again surprisingly he did it and was great!
Playing with the rubber duckies.  We would through them out into the water and the kids would jump in and race to see who could get the most.  They loved it.
Forgotten Canyon I wish would just stay forgotten.  We go almost every time and I love to see the ruins but I hate hate hate how high up they are from the water(depending on the water level each year)  but it makes me a nervous wreak. My boys are running, climbing, jumping off things and it scares me to death that they are going to fall off the cliff to their death! I think we have been to it enough times that next time we are out:)

Oh! the cow.  Well what is there to say but there was a cow on a wave runner at Lake Powell and Carol laughed so hard she peed her pants! (it was Reed and Brook)
So fun can't wait til next year!
