The other day Chandler was brushing his teeth and he started crying and freaking out cuz it was loose and bleeding. We talked about how its ok because kids loose their teeth so big teeth can come in. Like some of his family and friends already have. I also told him that back in the grandpa days they would tie a string to a horse and slap the horse on the butt to make the horse run and pull the tooth out. The boys were laughing they thought that was really funny. But when mom and dad were little they would tie the string to the door knob and slam the door shut to pull it out. He wouldn't let us do either. But when I told him the tooth fairy comes and leaves money he worked on getting that tooth out all the time. About a week latter at Grandma and Grandpa Daniels he came over to show me the he had pulled it out all by himself! That night the tooth fairy left him $1. Really exciting!
Another 'tooth' : The school (principal) called me the other day and told me that Chandler was in the office. I was worried that he was in trouble but they told me that he found a quarter in the hall and went to the office to turn it in. They were calling cuz they were impressed of his honesty and what a good boy he is and what good parents we must be. Keep up the good work. It really made my day! We love this kid:)
