Last Fun in the Sun

Me and the boys had the opportunity to go to the Brigham City Temple Open House.  It was late but beautiful and a fun experience to share with my boys.  They love seeing the pretty rooms inside.

 On the bus and excited!

We spent a day at the Gorge with friends.  It was a little cold and started to rain but then a massive wind came up and blew everything away and moms were running kids to the vehicles.  Me and a couple of other moms held on to the canopies for dear life. It was really scary for a minute or two(which seemed like forever) but then in calmed down the sun came out and the kids came out to play some more in the sand and water.

Poor babies got sand blasted and half of our group went home.  The rest of us stuck it out and enjoyed the day.

This year in August me and Reed celebrated our 10th anniversary. Sadly not on the beaches of Hawaii but we did enjoy a weekend in Salt Lake together.  We stayed at an old hotel down town(can't remember the name right now) it was beautiful inside.  Ate dinner at the Melting Pot which was so yummy and fun.  Then we went to the new City Creek Mall.  We also went to see the Joseph Smith movie on Temple Square.  Thanks to G&G Smith for the great weekend get away.

All summer I have been wanting to try this and I give credit to all the Phineas and Ferb shows I have watched but we saved it for the last day of summer.  I made a giant slip n' slide down into the ditch in the backyard.  The neighborhood kids had fun but sadly it wasn't as cool as I was hoping.  Well at least we tried and now we know.

Goodbye summer we really will miss you!
