Stubborn

Last weekend we had a baby appointment. All is good. But since the weather was nice we just chilled. I decided to go to the DI and found a couple things I was excited about. This file cabinet which is ugly but with a little spray paint will work great.

Same with this wagon I found for $8 just a little spray paint and this is what the boys are getting for EAster!

The boys were enjoying being out in the yard. Carol was cleaning around the pool and the top then she opened it and the boys really wanted to jump in. I kept saying no but finally told them just go right ahead. They wanted their swim suits but I told them just to go in their undies then they changed their minds.

We also had a little picnic of snacks

Reed was hard at work cutting down this tree, just this bottom part. He started about 1 and finished finally about 5:30. He was a little frustrated cuz he thought he could get it so far then just push it over but that stubborn tree just wouldn't give and they tried about everything.

They would shake it and shake it and the thing would bend so far but not give.

It finally cracked

Victory was his or so he thought. They loaded all the stumps into the back of Reeds truck to haul away and the weight broke something. We couldn't drive his truck home and had to barrow Nate and Madalyn's car,(thank you so much). So I think that tree got the last laugh!
