A little project I was working on my mom had an old armior this is what color it was before and this...
is what it looks like now. We primed it, painted it black, then put that crackle paint on it (which they don't sell any more so thanks to Morgan for letting me use hers) then you paint the white. I was going to change the handles but spray painted them instead and I love it!
I painted my pantry panels with the magnetic paint which does NOT work! So I took it back and just did the chalk paint. It doesn't erase very well but is still fun and cute.
My boys are always bringing home stuff from school and making art work at home and my fridge gets really cluttered. Now they can hang there art up by our back door with this board and clothes pins that they painted. I have to hurry and get it on the wall cuz the boys wanted to put there art up now.
This last week was so busy and exhusting for me but I was so thankful for the two days of sun for the kids to play outside. Poor Camden was the only girl one day for play group and made a circle for safety that the boys aren't allowed in. Well she might as well have put herself in the middle of a bulls eye cuz the boys thought it was fun to get in it and try to scare her out of it.
Reed barrowed the Naceys side by side and took the boys out a couple of times. It was fun but freezing cold!
Some of my fam came up last weekend to visit and wanted to do something fun. I don't know if Ice Skating was what they had in mind cuz after about an hour everyones feet were hurting.
So I had, yes, had to teach my boys to go down the stairs in sleeping bags and this is why. The other day I was cleaning out some more boxes and asked Chandler just to throw them down the stairs. Me and mom heard all this noise and banging going down the stairs and I didn't think anything of it. But Chandler came running back into my room. "Mom that was so fun we got in the box and rode it down the stairs. It was awesome! We are going to go do it again!"
I was a little freaked out and shocked that no one was hurt but I told them never to go down in a box or laundry basket(cuz that is what we did when I was little) but I taught them how to go in the sleeping bags and they love it.
And speaking of teaching Reed teaches them fun stuff all the time too. We have these star darts that have suction cups on the edges and they are supposed to throw them at the board but we know how long that lasted I might just throw the board away cuz the boys(including my husband) run around throwing them at each other and then play human bulls eye. Trying not to hit each other but getting as close as you can! And it is really funny when someone gets hit in his manhood. Boys will by boys and I can't wait to add another one to the bunch!
